Today, I wrote an email to promote a live webcast I’m doing tomorrow night at 7:00 pm ET.
The entire email is printed below but I want to talk to you about one part of it namely the subject line.
My original subject line was “Trump & Hillary Conspiracy”, then “Trump and Hillary Scam” and then the one in you see here, “Trump and Clinton Lies”
Those three are all more powerful than the one the actually subject line of the email being sent out which is “Trump & Hillary Joke.”
I decided to go with the weaker subject line because the email wasn’t just being sent to my own list or even just to the GKIC but rather to a slew of affiliates lists. Therefore a tamer version was needed.
However, look at the difference and impact one word can have. “Conspiracy,” “Lies” and “Scam” are all emotionally charged words. These words cut through the clutter and cause people to sit-up and pay attention.
The words you use whether to promote your online event or during your online event make a huge difference in your sales results. You want to choose them carefully.
One other point here: Like it or not, negativity arouses more curiosity and out pulls positivity.

Trump & Hillary Joke
Hey there,
I don’t know about you but I’m already growing tired of the presidential campaign and all the negativity that comes with it.
Each candidate is making accusations about each other. Both proclaiming thatthe country is doomed if the other one is elected. Each saying that they have the solution to fix the economy and put people back to work.
What a joke.
Listen, here’s the truth:
The only person who is going to make your life and business better is you.
And here’s what’s exciting:
You can control your destiny. You can take your business from where it is to where you want it to be. You can achieve financial success and freedom…regardless of who is elected president.
