A couple nights ago, my son David and I watched one of my favorite movies, “Fargo.”
Here is a brief clip. Watch it and then continue reading.
That’s my kind of humor – subtle.
Salespeople need to be a lot more subtle when closing the sale. It’s shocking to me that they’re still using canned, “slick” closes that were originally used in the 70’s and before! These are as subtle as Santa running naked down South Beach in July. (Don’t ask me why my mind came up with that metaphor.)
Attention Salespeople and the sales trainers who train them:
That stuff doesn’t work anymore. Your prospects are more sophisticated. They know what you’re doing and it turns them off. Some actually resent you for it.
If you properly structure your sales presentation and use subliminal selling strategies, not only will you close more sales, you’ll start creating customers for life.
Tomorrow, I’ll be sending you info that will help you out. Be on the lookout for it.
Kick butt, make mucho DEEnero!
