Come in close grasshopper because I’m going to share how to close more sales that has nothing to do with any slick closing techniques.
First, let’s agree on a fundamental sales premise: Your prospects are just buying your products, they are buying you. ‘Tis true.
Studies have shown that 80% of all sales are based on the customer liking and trusting the salesperson. Not based on features, benefits or event price. Sure, those all come into play but the most crucial element to closing the sale is YOU.
So when you walk out onto the “stage” to speak, do a webinar or talk to a prospect one on one, how they feel about you is mission critical to your sales success.
Next premise: How you feel about yourself impacts how other people feel about you. Naturally, if you don’t feel good about yourself, if you’re not confident, if you don’t exude positive energy, your prospect will feel that, correct.
Alrighty, so we’ve agreed that how your prospect feels about you makes a big difference when closing the sale and that how you feel about yourself impacts how your prospect feels about you.
So, it makes sense that if you work on your inner game and not just the newest closing technique, your sales with naturally increase, doesn’t it?
