What you can learn from Obama’s latest antics

El Presidente’ is vacating the Oval Office soon but good Lord, he’s not going quietly. In fact, his executive pen is on fire.

As reported in the New York Times;

“With less than three weeks before the Obama White House is history, making way for a new administration with radically different priorities, the president is using every power at his disposal to cement his legacy and establish his priorities as the law of the land.

He has banned oil drilling off the Atlantic coast, established new environmental monuments, protected funding for Planned Parenthood clinics, ordered the transfer of detainees from Guantánamo Bay, criticized Israeli settlements and punished Russia for interfering in the recent elections through cyberattacks.”

At the White House they call it “running through the tape.”

Lest you think I’m going to go on a political rant, I want to tell you how you can use President Obama’s strategy to get a lot more done and sell a lot more of your stuff.

Take El Presidentes’ lead and plan some hard-working, play-full-out, sprints into your calendar. This means to take massive action over a short period of time to achieve outcomes you ardently desire.

(By the way, I went on quite a wine drinking sprint while in Italy.)

Now before you go off willy-nilly, understand that you can’t sprint for long periods of time. This is intense stuff and you will need to slow down and take a break.

Oh, and it’s tough to do a sprint by yourself. You need to enlist of the help of top-notch people to get it done.
