Finally! A GREAT customer service story!

On Monday, as I was walking through the Seattle airport to catch a flight back to Atlanta. I heard a low, powerful and pleasant humming sound. When I looked in the direction of the sound, I saw an attractive, free standing Bose booth. (If you don't know, Bose produces superior sound systems.)

I was having a problem with my noise cancelling headphones which are AMAZING. The young salesperson immediately greeted me with a big smile and told me he would be right with me. He was in the process of closing a $300 sale with another traveller. You could tell that the salesman TOTALLY believed in the product and was VERY enthusiastic about it.

I told him about the problem I was having and he immediately said, "It is one of two things. Let me run a quick test." About 3 minutes later he comes back with a brand new, fully charged pair of headphones and gives them to me. He then pulls out his ipod and plugs in the headphones so I could listen.

Before I leave, he registers my purchase for me on via the Internet.

I walked away with the new headphones under my arm, completely and 100% satisfied.

Do you think I'm now a loyal customer of Bose? You bet your life.

The Secrets To Hypnotic Language, Subliminal Suggestion, And Non-Verbal Communication...Revealed!

Many salespeople consider hypnotic language patterns and subliminal suggestions to be some of the most powerful and fascinating strategies I teach. I think you'll agree after you finish reading this lesson.

So what exactly is hypnotic language?

It is language that bypasses conscious thought and goes directly into the subconscious mind of your prospect. Your prospect will have absolutely no conscious awareness that you're trying to persuade or influence him.

Now there are literally dozens of utilize this devastating technology, but I'm going to reveal of few of them that you can immediately use.

*How To Precondition Your Prospect To Agree With You*

A good stage hypnotist preconditions his audience to believe that he has the power to put people under hypnosis.

By preconditioning the audience, it's much easier for the hypnotist to actually hypnotize people during the show. As a salesperson, you also want to precondition your prospect to say "yes" and agree with you before you even start your presentation.

You do that by asking "yes set" questions. These are a series of 5 to 10 questions that your prospect has to answer"yes" to. The beautiful thing about this, as with all hypnotic language patterns, is that your prospect doesn't even really realize that you're doing anything. It’s very,very natural.

By getting your prospect to say, "Yes to a series of questions before you start your main presentation, you're pre-conditioning your prospect to agree with you.

Here’s an example of how you can to this:

Let’s say for example, your prospect’s name is Ms. Johnson and she has an appointment at two o'clock. When she comes into your office, you would say: "Hello. You must be Ms. Johnson."

She has to answer "yes" to that. You then ask,"We have an appointment at two o'clock, don't we?" And she will also answer, "Yes." You could then ask, "Sure is a sunny day, isn't it?" And of course, she will have to say, "Yes."

So again, by asking 5-10 very simple questions that get an immediate response of "yes", you put your prospect into an agreement frame of mind and precondition her to say "yes" to you. Pretty strong stuff, wouldn't you agree?

You won't believe what I saw yesterday! (A must read)

Okay, so yesterday I went and did a brief magic show at a convalescent home for Mother's Day. Afterwards, Alexis and I went out to lunch at a vegan restaurant. (FYI: I am a full fledged meat eater once again, after 18 years of being a vegetarian!)

At the table next to us were two older women discussing "business." One of the women was talking about strategic moves she was thinking about making or not making. Her friend's first piece of stellar advice was, "I need to get you in touch with my psychic."

But wait...It gets even better...

The friend then pulls out of her pocket a PENDULUM and a chart and has the other woman ask the pendulum what decisions she should make regarding her business. Both of these ladies were dead serious as they waited with bated breath for the pendulum to answer.

I sat there trying not to fall off my chair with laughter and thought "Only in Los Angeles."

I told Alexis I could make a killing being the psychic marketing expert. I would charge a ton of money to do some bogus psychic stuff but then give really stellar marketing advice. My freaky clients of course would think that their results and success came from my psychic ability!

What's sad is, although most small business owners aren't consulting a psychic to make important business decisions, they might as well be because they are making decisions based on what everyone else in their industry is doing or based on what "feels" right.

The problem is, when you do what everyone else in your industry is doing, it's like the blind leading the blind. The problem with doing what feels right is that, very often, what gets the best results is counter intuitive.

So how to build and grow a successful business? It's really quite simple. Listen to people who know what they are talking about and follow a proven plan. Ritual Power And Your Success

Happy Monday!

I've been studying Eben Pagen's outstanding "Altitude" Internet marketing program. on a recent DVD heard Tony Schwartz, the author of "The Power Of Full Engagement" speak.

(Quick side note: There are some "gurus" who never want to talk about other people who they study or learn from fearing that it'll create competition. I have no problem whatsoever giving credit where credit is due. Plus, I wouldn't want to learn from someone who did NOT study other smart people!)

Among the many things Mr. Schwartz talked about was the power of rituals. His premise is that human beings should not count on self-discipline to get things done but, rather, we need to create rituals that will help us be successful.

He defines a ritual as highly specific things things you do, that serve you well, that you do not have to think about.

To create a ritual, you must have a very specific plan about exactly what you're going to do and when you're going to do it. You need to define the action(s) you're going to take, create accountability and take this action(s) at a set time each day.

Mr. Schwarz recommends you create on creating ONE successful ritual per month. If you practice it religiously for 30 days, it will become habitual. At the end of the year, you will have create 12 of these success rituals. What kind of impact would that have on your business and your life? A pretty profound impact, wouldn't you say?!

So, what SIMPLE success ritual are you going to start today, or tomorrow at the latest?

Increase your profits by reading one paragraph
